You all have heard about Orange County because of that TV Show ” The OC” and the nice beaches … If you are here for a couple of days, why not do something fun and different? Take advantage of the Amusement Parks in Orange County!
Disneyland
So of course you all know about Disneyland, Mickey Mouse and its Space Mountain. But did you know that this amusement park is the first Disneyland Resort ever built! You need to arrive early: because of parking, because of the waiting line to get your entrance ticket, and also because you will need the whole day to do it all. Once you’re in, make sure to keep that map close by and go from land to land to take full advantage of that magical experience. You might want to check websites for packages deals and think about staying more than one day. It is worth being able to do it all! The best time to visit amusement parks in Orange County are during the off season (avoid summer vacations, Thanksgiving and Christmas) because it’s less crowded and you get better deals.
California Adventure
Unknown to a lot of people, California Adventure, also offered by Disney, is the 2d of the Amusement Parks of Orange County. And it’s just across the parking lot of Disneyland! This great amusement park is all about California. It introduces you to various aspect o
f California’s culture and sights through roller coasters and breath taking attractions and a great setting. I strongly recommend Soaring Over California. As Disneyland, this park is accessible to children and adults.
Note: You can buy a double pass to visit Disneyland and California Adventure both in one day, called the Park Hoper Ticket. As both parks are huge and offer a lot of great things to see and do, think about getting the Fast Pass. This pass, for an extra fee, gives you priority to all attractions. You will do more in less time!
Knott’s Berry Farm
Knott’s Berry Farm is the 3d of the amusement parks in Orange County. It’s a fun place for kids and adults. You are entertained with fast, water and family rides, and sensational roller coasters. When it’s time for a rest, just watch the shows and get to hug Snoopy! Pay your entrance according to your age and always check for the latest discounts! So come enjoy what is known as the first theme park in America and have some fun!
