When you think of Las Vegas, you picture casinos, the famous Strip, gambling… drinks… well there is a lot more to do and see than just the nightlife! Whether you are visiting Las Vegas for Business or for a vacation with family or friends, the following give you a few new things to put down on your ” to do list” while you are in Las Vegas.
Natural Attraction in Las Vegas
After a nice evening gambling in the middle of this desert city full of lights and man made attractions, why not pay a visit to nature? Just 35 miles out of down town Las Vegas, Clark Country Wetland Park offers you to rediscover nature and its birds and other wild life. These wetlands are home for egrets, ducks , falcons, many other birds and species, and they are the local wildlife’s favorite spot during the breeding season. You can follow trails, walk while enjoying the beautiful landscape and admiring the wildlife. As the park is used for school field trips, it is recommended to contact the Park ahead before planning a visit, so you enjoy the scenery and animals rather than listening to the chitchat of teenagers and preschoolers.
Art and Museums in Las Vegas
When you hear people say Las Vegas isn’t the cultural trip, don’t listen! Las Vegas is rich in artistic attractions and offers an important diversified culture. Since mornings are cooler it is recommended to keep the indoor activities for the afternoon. The Bellagio for example presents the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art, exposing art from Warhol to Monet or Picasso, and working in association with the Museum of Contemporary Art of San Diego.
