Every month Seattle offers great cultural events for locals and visitors. Many museums, galleries, theaters and spots have special days or events to present themselves to the public – sometimes you even get it for free! We have listed the most important cultural events of Seattle for the month of September. Have fun!
Public Tour Olympic Sculpture Park
Every once in a while, the Olympic Sculpture Park offers free public tours. On September 4 you have the chance to learn more about Seattle’s famous park, its history and design, and about selected sculptures. The tour will last one hour, starting at noon. Bring comfortable shoes to walk in!
Free First Saturday Seattle Asian Art Museum
Same day, different place, different free event. Also on September 4, the Seattle Asian Art Museum opens its doors to the public. You can walk through the whole building for free between 11am and 2pm and even test yourself how good you are in making good luck charms out of clay.
Cirque du Soleil : Alegria
South of Seattle in Tacoma Cirque du Soleil takes your breath away. Amazing performances, artistic dances and acrobats – this is what their shows are all about. Cirque du Soleil stays in Tacoma from September 15 through September 19, so if you have the chance to get a ticket, see it!
